Unseam'd Shakespeare Company is coming out for our 21st season with Orlando, by Sarah Ruhl. Based on Virginia Woolf's classic novel, and adapted by one of American's most produced playwrights, this funny, touching and engaging piece follows the young poet throughout time from Elizabethan England into the twentieth century, across Europe from East to West... and across genders as one day, Orlando awakens to find himself - a herself! Who is she now? Is she truly any different than before? Is the change really in herself, or in how others see her? Five actors will populate this highly theatrical world which includes renaissance poetry, Russian nobility, wars with the Turks and love scenes that could be taken from the work of Jane Austen. There really is a little something for everyone. Come out yourselves and join us for this theatrical adventure!
